This is the women’s Altra Lone Peak 7 trail running shoe, with a Zero Drop heel to forefoot and a FootShape toe box. Both of these relatively ground-breaking technologies that make up the women’s Lone Peak 7 help to improve the trail runner’s form. A Zero Drop heel to forefoot drop trail running shoe encourages a mid-foot landing, compared with a somewhat traditional heel landing. A FootShape toe box, which feels much more roomy than many trail running shoes, which gives the foot room to function, expand after warming up and naturally cushion you upon landing.
